I think the one new thing from it was a pirate ship rabbit hole and that was the most effort they put in to creating the uninspired theme of the world. It takes a certain skill to make something that is both ugly and dull. But it was a good bargaining chip, Riverview is one of the better worlds out there.īarnacle Bay is the worst. I don't personally count Riverview as one of the Store worlds, I always thought of it as a default world from the start, cruelly turned in to a bargaining chip to make you register. I never played Lucky Palms but it seems to be the most popular, probably because unlike the others that had more "out there" themes and styles it was just a desert world. Like Roaring Heights, the community lots and rabbit holes and landscapes really make this world work and you can see the creators put a lot of work in to it. But it is a really nice world once you get passed all of that. Midnight Hollow is like Moonlight Falls, but replace the supernaturals with every annoying Tumblr subculture and screw up the lighting so you can't see anything. The houses have the worst layouts though. The rabbit holes and community lots are really nice and the series lacks those urban, city worlds. Roaring Heights was probably my favourite. (It's Betty White's voice!) But eff that, there's like ten of them. I was thinking about going through them all and commenting on them because I love the sound of my own voice in my head. Midnight Hollow also had a really cool concept but unfortunately I found the design they chose to be really ugly and unappealing (seriously, red grass. The world is simply too small, there's almost no usable space so I just can't really play in it. I really like a lot of the premade Sims in Hidden Springs, but unfortunately the size is very disappointing. I just wish it had more lots, trees, etc. I like Monte Vista, but it has a lot of empty space that makes it feel really lacking. I'm also a huge fan of the design and atmosphere of Sunlit Tides, though it is very disappointing that it isn't compatible with Island Paradise's dive lots or houseboats (as the water level is too shallow) same with Barnacle Bay. All the premade sims are ugly though, so I made my own depopulated version. I'd say Dragon Valley is probably my favourite, it's the only one I ever play with it's the only store world with an atmosphere that I really find appealing and fun. Which store worlds do you like the best, and which do you like the least?
