Go to Electronic Arts, then The Sims 4 folder. Click Download and The Sims 4 will start to download in your Origin Library. Select the My Games tab and click on The Sims 4 from your library. Note: An account is required to play The Sims 4. Log in with the same EA Account that you use to play The Sims 4 on PC. Copy and paste the ‘saves’ folder from the flash drive to the The Sims 4 folder on your Mac. On your Mac, open Finder, go to Documents, then Electronic Arts. Please note that with The Sims 4, you do not need a Package folder within the Mods folder (like we had to do for The Sims 3). WHERE TO INSTALL MODS/CC – All.package files that you have downloaded can be moved to the following folder: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. For testing purposes, I moved my entire Mods folder over to my Mac partition and into my new game, so this is what my Mods folder looked like at the time: You’ll notice that I have quite a few stray files and a lot of folders. The Resource.cfg will stay in the main Mods folder with the rest of the files and/or folders that you add. For help on switching off TS4 and Origin automatic updates please see here.

(For help on installing Mods in The Sims 3, please read itsaprilXD’s excellent guide here: ) Remember, you MUST remove your Mods before patching your game.
